I’m Khairul Anwar, a software engineer in Kuala Lumpur. At work, I own the integration layer between a mobile operator’s ordering systems and the platforms that provision and activate services. My work spans production troubleshooting, platform migrations and repeatable integration tests. I also coach junior engineers through worked examples and implementation feedback.
Away from customer delivery, I build tools for problems I encounter myself. AuthCompanion uses Touch ID and Apple Watch for GPG and sudo approval. My open-source contributions improve the coding tools I use every day.
Outside work, I travel with close friends and co-organise independent charity projects: wells in Tanzania and Malawi, and food aid in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Thailand.
I’m open to software engineering roles beyond backend and integrations, especially where I can bring systems experience and learn a new stack.
